Jacob is german runner-up

The youngest proof of his extraordinary skiing talent was given by the "exotic" skier delivered from the low mountain range at the german championship at oberjoch in hindelang. The 13-year-old won the silver medal in the parallel slalom in the age group of twelve to fourteen year-olds (S12) – his greatest success to date. First on the program was the giant slalom. Starting fifth in the first heat, jacob voluntarily dropped out after about half of the second run.
Better it went one day later in the parallel slalom. Already in the qualifying run jacob made a claim for medals as the runner-up. In the duel of man against man – the racers started simultaneously on two identical courses side by side – the young eppenreuther first prevailed against moritz fetscher (ehingen). Jacob made up a 0.10 second gap in the second run.
The young man from upper franconia lost the first final run against jonas stockinger (SC herzogsreuth) by 0.29 seconds. So he still had all the chances in the decisive second run. But they were gone after a fall due to a classic inside skiing mistake. Even if jacob schramm was "a little angry" at first glance – but silver is an acceptable consolation for him.
Eppenreuther missed another chance to win a medal on the third day when he got into a jolt after the second gate in the slalom and had to retire.
