The "best of is in coburg a fixed rough for the people who like to listen to live music. For many years, coburg’s musicians have been getting together to play rock classics for a good cause.
The way is the goal, because months before the actual concert date the rehearsals begin. Each of the 30 or so participants can suggest songs that they would like to perform at the "best of" concert would like to perform with other musicians. The special thing is that the bands do not play in well-known formations, but the formations are thrown together. The constellation on stage is always the one that has come together for the fun of the song.
This year’s line-up includes classics by black sabbath, david bowie, the offspring, nirvana and nathaniel rateliff, to name just a few. The concert will take place on saturday, 7. April, at the youth center coburg am anger held.
Start is at 20.30 o’clock.
Admission costs 5 euros and the full amount is donated. The musicians play for free and the hard-working helpers from the youth center also support the event free of charge.
The proceeds will be divided between the domino youth center, which, according to the announcement, is what makes this concert possible in the first place, and the "africa" project seminar of the franz-ludwig-gymnasium in bamberg. The money will be used for an education center in tanzania, among other things to paint the blackboard, mend school uniforms and do something for aids education there.
All those involved will be happy if the concert was well received and many people came to donate a large amount of money afterwards.
